Mission: Simplify your life, one space at a time.
Hi, I'm Erin and am the owner of Organizing with Compassion. I founded it in 2019, where I have been helping individuals and families achieve their home organizational goals. Whether that be organizing their kitchen in a new home or packing up their son/daughters belongings from college and shipping it home. Before that I have been helping my family and friends find their own personal space solutions. Serving the Champaign, Bloomington-Normal and surrounding communities.
I believe that home organization is not just about having a neat and tidy space, but also about creating a balance and harmonious life. That's why I consider both your physical space, personal needs and your preferences.
Every client is unique, and their organizational needs vary, that is why I tailor my approach to meet their specific challenges on each project. I will find solutions and techniques to create a functional space that works for your lifestyle and personality. A solution that increases productivity and efficiency to reduce your stress and improve your well-being.
As an advocate for graceful aging, I am committed to providing seniors with the guidance and support they need to embark on this new chapter of their lives confidently. Whether it’s downsizing from a beloved family home or relocating to a retirement community, I personalize my services to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
In 2022, I had my own personal experience with moving my grandmother into Assisted Living and getting her family home ready to be put on the market. My visits with my grandmother usually consisted of me putting her clothes away or changing her clothes out by the seasons. We had great conversations every time I was there, but she also put me to work most of the time. I didn’t mind at all because I was giving her that peace of mind. By me doing it, that took the stress and worry off her. I ensured that I did it her way making sure no safety hazards were being created. This way she felt heard, valued, and empowered throughout the process, even though she wasn’t doing it. Her new living space needed to feel like home and be comfortable for her long-term happiness and well-being. This is when I asked myself, “What about Seniors that have no family or no one to assist them?” With that one question, I knew this was my new passion.
Let Organizing with Compassion guide you through every step of the journey with patience, understanding and always a judgement free zone.
